
Keypad Electronic Combination Locks
FireKing Security Group uses digital locks by LpLOCKS, LaGard or Sargent &
Greenleaf depending on the application.
LpLOCKS Electronic Keypads
Effective September 2008 safes which were being manufactured with LaGard Basic electronic keypad locks are now being manufactured with the LpLOCKS "Baseline" EL-20 (or EL-25) electronic keypad locks.
General Info (EL-20 & EL-25)
• 6-Digit code. Factory default = 123456.
• Blink and beep with each button press.
• Double-beep after last digit of valid code.
• Long beep after invalid entry. Four invalid entries results in 5 minute lockout (10 second flashes and long beep if any button is pressed).
• Triple-beep indicates lock bolt jam.
• Wait 20 seconds after a failed entry attempt before trying again.
• Factory code = 123456
• To change combo: Press and hold "0" until double-beep, enter old code (double-beep), enter new code (double-beep), enter new code again (double-beep). If any error occurs the old code remains.
EL-25 Opening Door with Delay
• Enter code. (Double-beep indicates correct code).
• Beep and flash every 10 seconds while delay is in progress.
• When delay ends, the open period begins.
• Open period indicated by rapid beep and flash once per second.
• Enter code. (Double-beep indicates correct code).
• Open safe.
EL-25 Self-Diagnostic Feature
• Press and hold "5" until double-beep.
• Press each number button in sequence from "1" to "0" and listen for double-beep after each.
• If each button double-beeps then all number buttons are working.
EL-25 Add/Change Second User
• Press and hold "1" until double-beep and light remains on.
• Enter primary code then enter new user code twice.
• If each button double-beeps then all number buttons are working.
• Test second user to verify operation.
EL-25 Delete Second User
• Press and hold "3" until double-beep.
• Enter primary code. Double beep indicates second user is deleted.
EL-25 Edit Door Delay
• Enter code. (Double-beep indicates correct code).
• Beep and flash every 10 seconds while delay is in progress.
• When delay ends, the open period begins.
• Open period indicated by rapid beep and flash once per second.
• Press and hold "9" until double-beep and light turns on solid.
• Enter primary code.
• Enter delay minutes (two digits) and open period minutes (two digits). For example: 0502 = 5 minute delay and 2 minute open period.
• Double-beep and light goes out indicates change successful. If there is no double-beep the change was not accepted.

Changing
the Master Code
1. Press 74.
2. Press *.
3. Enter the existing six-digit Master Code.
4. Press #1*.
5. Enter the new six-digit Master Code.
6. Press #.
7. Enter the new six-digit Master Code again.
8. Press #. The lock will emit 3 disticnt chirps if the new code is accepted.
If a long tone is heard the code is not accepted.
Changing/Adding
a User Code
1. Press 74.
2. Press *.
3. Enter the six-digit Master Code.
4. Press #.
5. Enter the user number (2 through 9).
6. Press *.
7. Enter the new six-digit user code.
8. Press #.
9. Enter the new six-digit user code again.
10. Press #. The lock will emit 3 disticnt chirps if the new code is accepted.
If a long tone is heard the code is not accepted.
Deleting a
User Code
1. Press 74.
2. Press *.
3. Enter the six-digit Master Code.
4. Press #.
5. Enter the user number (2 through 9).
6. Press *##. The lock will emit 3 disticnt chirps to indicate the user is
deleted.
S&G
6120 Lock Wont Open
1. Replace the batteries. Make sure to use good quality alkaline batteries:
Energizer (first choice) or Duracell (second choice).
2. If the lock solenoid still does not pull back and the keypad appears
to operate correctly try placing the batteries in series (18 Vdc). Otherwise
replace the keypad.
3. Drill and replace the lock.
